We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to work for Global logistics Company in their brand new site in Leicester (Please note that these roles will require the initial training period to take place at their site in Rugby).
This role entails coordinating both internally and externally with customers, colleagues and various departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the company's services.
The customer representative position is about achieving prompt and accurate responses to warehouse and customer enquiries.
You will be responsible for building customer relationships at all levels, responding to customer queries daily by phone, face to face meetings and emails. Liaising with external suppliers and freight providers you will be effectively and efficiently ensuring all factors are dealt with such as late or missing freight, ETA's, damaged goods, collection requests and stock enquiries.
This role involves a lot of working on a computer; such as updating databases and appropriate software packages as well internal updates such as finance data entry and updating of Excel spreadsheets. There will be an element of KPI reporting, POD management and following insurance claim procedures.
All the above should be done in accordance with health and safety and data protection practices.
The site, in Leicester, is ideally situation just off the M1 and within good commuting distance of a number of locations in the Midlands. Due to having to start working in the Rugby site you will need to be a driver with access to a vehicle
The ideal candidate will have customer service experience preferably within logistics, and a strong ability to learn and keenness to progress will be a huge advantage. We are looking for someone with good IT skills and have had experience using Excel and SAP software packages.
